What is Buttoned Down Liveshow about?
Buttoned Down Liveshow is a spin off from Buttoned Down Disco and focuses on exposing up and coming live acts and new music in general. Previous acts showcased include Goose, Dragonette, Man Like Me, Get Shakes, Partyshank, Shlomo, XX Teens, Soho Dolls, Nobra, Go Kart Mozart, OK Tokyo, Subliminal Girls and They Came From The Stars, I Saw Them.
Buttoned Down Liveshow held monthly showcases throughout 2007, mostly at 93 Feet East in Brick Lane. Since then, we have held one or two liveshows a year. See a list of who played for us below.
When is the next Buttoned Down Liveshow?
Our next liveshow will be our super silly liveshow special featuring K*nt & The Gang, DJ Rubbish and Stuffed Moose on Friday 31st July 2009. We're too busy preparing silliness to tell you any more than that at the moment, but it's definitely a date for your diary! More info to follow soon.
Where is Buttoned Down Liveshow?
The next liveshow will be held at The Fly in New Oxford Street, London. Previous venues used include Astoria 2, 93 Feet East, 333 Club and Bar Music Hall.

Chik Budo took indie theory but ditched the guitars in favour of two saxophone players! A highly original and danceable set. Xerox Teens set was so danceable though, that it actually prompted a neu-rave stage invasion! Fun. |
