1. What is the minimum age for entry to Buttoned Down Disco?

Buttoned Down Disco at KOKO operates an over 18 policy.

2. Will I need to bring ID to prove my age?

Yes, we advise that you bring a form of ID in case you are asked at the door. Only current passport, driving licence or PASS identification cards are accepted as valid forms of ID. Student cards are not accepted.

3. Is there a dress code?

Buttoned Down Disco is an indie/alternative club; we don't have a dress code per se, but we do not permit work/office wear (eg. no naff suits, loafers). To get an idea of what people wear, please see our photos.

4. Can I wear fancy dress?

We love to see people dressed to dance! However, we do not permit hen do or stag party style fancy dress (eg. no "L"-plates, inflatables and the like). Likewise we're not really into completely trashy fancy dress. To get an idea of what people wear, please see our photos. Please note that the KOKO management reserve right of admission and no guarantee for entry can be made in advance of the night.

5. Will there be much of a queue to get in?

Buttoned Down Disco is a very popular clubnight and the free entry (before 10.30pm) can attract a large queue. Entry is on a first come first served basis from 10pm, so arrive early! We also offer queue jump tickets, so if you're planning a special celebration and would like to come with a group of friends, buying queue jump tickets could be a perfect option. Our £15 queue jump tickets via Eventbrite.

6. What time is last entry to Buttoned Down Disco?

The last admission into the venue is 2.30am.

7. I have a large group coming down; can I get a discount?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer any discounts on entry, since we already offer a very generous free entry before 10.30pm. Entry after 10.30pm is £10 per person.

8. I have a large group coming down; do we all need invites?

Yes, everyone in your group needs an invite. Please simply copy the invite for you and your guests (one each). If you have a large group and want an extra special night, we do offer group bookings. These include the exclusive hire of the Royal Box or the Directors Box for the whole evening, with 25 and 30 queue jump guestlist places respectively. For smaller groups who want a little something special, we also offer £15 queue jump tickets via Eventbrite which allows you to skip the main queue and get partying even more quickly. We can also accommodate larger parties, please contact us for bespoke packages.

9. Can I get guestlist?

Simply copy the invite for you and your guests (one each). Alternatively, we also offer £15 queue jump tickets via Eventbrite.

10. Can I hire a VIP/private area?

Yes, we have two private balconies that can be hired out for exclusive use at our KOKO parties. These include the exclusive hire of the Royal Box or the Directors Box for the whole evening, with 25 and 30 queue jump guestlist places respectively. View the group bookings page for more info.

11. I've requested invites but I haven't received any yet; why is this?

A confirmation email should have been automatically sent to you within a few minutes of signing up. Then, in the week leading up to the next party, you should have received the official invitation. From time to time, invites get caught up by spam filtering systems. This is often the case for Hotmail, Yahoo and GMail users. Please check that mail from letsdance@buttoneddowndisco.com is allowed to be delivered to your mailbox. You may find that invites are going straight into your spam or trash folder, if so, please adjust your spam filter accordingly.

12. I don't have a printer; are there alternatives to showing printed invites?

Yes, you have two alternative options to showing a printed invite. You can either show your invite electronically on your phone or you can use a Buttoned Down Disco badge as a substitute invite. You can use badges from previous parties. In order to reduce the amount of paper wastage, we like to promote these more environmentally friendly alternatives, but rest assured KOKO also operate a recycling policy on the printed invites.

13. Does KOKO have a cloakroom/bag storage?

Yes, KOKO has two cloakrooms, where you can deposit your coat or bag for £2 per item.

14. Does KOKO have a smoking area?

15. Do KOKO offer disabled access?
